This is a strange area. So many stories about this rumassala hill.

According to Indian legends RAMAYANAYA. In king Ravana & king Ram War(anciant war between India and Sri Lanka)When Hanumantha or Hanuman god was carrying Himalaya mountain(Everest mountain) a small part dropped near Galle. this part named as Rumassala hill.



But others argue that this was made from an asteroid Rom a different plannet. Because the bio diversity is different in this mountain. So many identical plants in this area. A place for botanical researches.
