History says that in the past, a warrior named Mahasen lived in Kataragama. After his death as a warrior, he became a deity and became known as the God Kataragama. Later, the Kataragama Gods fell into a vicious cycle of war. The battle system used by the Gods of Kataragama was Angampora.
